Our collection truck uses a robotic arm to pick up the cans. If your contents are not in bags, are frozen or you have excess grass or cardboard in the can it sometimes be difficult to empty all the contents or sometimes contents spill. We try our best to clean up any spills.

Driver’s start routes as early as 4:00 am and pickup times can vary, therefore cans must be out the NIGHT BEFORE pickup day.
All garbage MUST BE BAGGED and the bags TIED TIGHTLY to prevent littering. Grass clippings are allowed, however, they too MUST be bagged to prevent getting stuck in the can.
All boxes MUST BE BROKEN DOWN COMPLETELY. Boxes or other large items can get pinched in the can when the truck grabs it preventing it from emptying completely.
Cans must be kept a minimum of 4 feet away from all obstacles to allow for pickup. This includes other 95 gallon cans! The truck cannot dump two cans at the same time without damaging cans.

In support of the Helena Scouts(Troop 214), the Christmas Tree Recycling Program, Tri County Disposal will not be scheduling Christmas Tree pickups this year and moving forward.
